Bike insurance customers keen to see some two-wheeled racing action may be pleased to hear the news that Suzuki has officially launched its 2010 racing programme.

The motorbike manufacturer has confirmed the calendar that could allow new racers a good taste of competitive riding.

The programme is run through Suzuki's range of authorised dealers and is organised by a three-time British Superbike Champion, John Reynolds.

Mr Reynolds said: "We are keen to help up and coming racers get a competitive ride at a competitive price. Equally, we hope the scheme will help boost grid numbers, which can only be positive for the sport."

A range of different models are included in the programme, including all of the current GSX-R line-up and the new Gladius 650. But whatever model is chosen - competitive bike insurance should not be forgotten.

The racing programme is aimed at racers hoping to compete in any of the British Superbike supported race classes and MRO level championships. It is designed as a low-cost way to enter the world of racing.

However, Suzuki produces more than just racers. Indeed, earlier this month the firm revealed an updated cruiser line-up for 2010, which features the reintroduced C800.
