Tottenham goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini has been snapped in better health recently since his disastrous motorbike crash earlier this month.
The footballer may have had to rely on his bike insurance to cover the cost of damage to the BMW Superbike he was riding on November 12th when he collided with a Ford Fiesta in East London.
Cudicini, aged 36, was rushed to hospital where it was discovered he had suffered a damaged pelvis and fractured wrists.
Both the female motorist and the child passenger in the vehicle escaped unharmed.
Riding a motorbike put the goalie in breach of his contract, as clauses agreed by the Football Association, the Premier League and the Professional Footballers' Association forbid players from taking part in activities that could put their careers in danger.
The Italian has recently been snapped getting about on crutches but is thought to be out of Spurs' line-up for the rest of the season.
Another high profile bike smash occurred last month when actor Brad Pitt crashed his chopper when trying to flee from a paparazzo.
