Scooter and bike insurance policyholders attending this year's International Motorcycle and Scooter Show are in for a treat, as Taiwanese manufacturer Kymco is set to unveil two new models.
The new KR Naked 125 street bike and a new addition to the LIKE retro scooter family, the fuel-injected LIKE 200i, will be displayed at the Birmingham NEC Arena from November 27th until December 6th.
With its double beam cast aluminium alloy chassis, the new naked bike saves 30 per cent weight compared with a regular steel frame, while the new scooter provides 60 per cent more power over its current 125cc sibling.
Ian Kidson, managing director of Kymco's UK concessionaire Masco, said there has been well-justified hype surrounding the two new offerings, with each bike highlighting the firm's "unique engineering and style qualities".
Managing director of MCI Exhibitions Finlay McAllan commented: "We're passionate about delivering a show that caters for all biker tastes and with the addition of Kymco, visitors who look for a unique style matched with cutting-edge technology are in for a treat."
The show is also set to feature bikes from top manufacturers BMW and Honda.
