Boyband singer Shane Lynch will join bike insurance policyholders at the forthcoming International Motorcycle and Scooter Show to promote the benefits of riding.
Set to take place between November 27th and December 6th, the event will run at Birmingham's NEC Arena and is set to feature top models from the world's best bike manufacturers.
A number of organisations will also be on hand to promote their campaigns, with one such movement being the Get On scheme, which aims to provide 100,000 people with a free taster session of motorcycling.
Boyzone member Shane Lynch has leant his support to the campaign and will be on hand at the event.
The 32-year-old commented: "I've always loved the thrill and sense of freedom which bikes give you but they offer so many practical benefits too."
He added that motorbikes and scooters have been shown to be more economical to run than four-wheel vehicles as well as helping to cut commuting times.
The singer went on to say that he hopes to try out the new off-road section being installed at the show this year.
"I used to race a bit in motorcross so it will be fun to give that a go as well," he said.
