Motorcycle maker Honda may have extended the appeal of its forthcoming VFR1200F model by announcing the machine will be available with a three-year warranty and increased servicing intervals.

Set to enter dealerships during Valentine's weekend next year, the model will be priced at £11,475.

General manager of Honda UK Motorcycles Steve Martindale commented that the bike is the ultimate in style and all-round riding appeal.

"We're very pleased to be able to offer currently industry-leading warranty cover as well as increased servicing intervals to reduce annual running costs for our customers," he stated.

Mr Martindale went on to say that Honda had strived to ensure the bike is within riders' budget while also reflecting its high build quality and uniqueness.

"This, coupled with the after-sales added value and reduced cost of ownership to customers, will add to the already desirable nature of this bike and we look forward to seeing it in our dealerships and out on the roads next spring," he concluded.

As part of the launch, the firm is offering riders the chance to win a romantic weekend in Paris by visiting a Honda dealership on February 13th or 14th.
