Bike maker Suzuki has embraced the season of goodwill by announcing it will auction off a unique machine built especially for grand prix legend Kevin Schwantz for charity.
Later this month, the GSX-R1000 model will go under the hammer for good cause BEN - the Motor and Allied Trades Benevolent Fund.
Generous bike insurance policyholders can place a bid at the Ben Ball in December, when the charity celebrates its 75th anniversary and hopes to raise £150,000.
The model was built for 1993 500cc World Champion Kevin Schwantz to ride at the Isle of Man TT in 2007 and boasts extra features such as a Yoshimura exhaust system and lacquered signature.
Suzuki GB sales and marketing director David Taylor commented that Ben is a charity close to the firm's heart due its work within the auto industry.
"The Kevin Schwantz GSX-R1000 really is a one-off bike, with a fantastic story behind it. With its inclusion in this auction, someone will make a money can't buy dream a reality," he said.
Ben works to provide emotional and financial support for those who have worked in the automotive sector and their families in times of need.
