Television star Richard Hammond may need to upgrade his motorbike insurance in the near future following the acquisition of a new model.
The Top Gear presenter is set to receive a new motorbike to add to his collection as a 40th birthday present from his wife, Mindy, it has been reported.
According to the Sun, Hammond has been given a £10,000 Kawasaki motorbike, to go with a collection that is already five-strong.
Furthermore, the presenter has splashed out on two new supercars, including a classic Jaguar E-Type made in 1969, the year of his birth, the newspaper reports.
The two new cars will be added to his 16-strong fleet of cars as the petrol-head continues to demonstrate his affinity for motor vehicles.
Someone who perhaps should be thinking about motorbike insurance over the coming months is Robbie Knievel, son of the famous daredevil Evel, following the star's announcement to follow in his father's footsteps.
Robbie has announced plans to emulate his father by jumping over 16 London buses on a motorbike next May, an effort that ended Evel's career when he broke his pelvis attempting to jump 13 buses in 1975.
