Tunstall reflects on Ozzie experience
British biker Tom Tunstall has responded to coming in 18th in round two of the World Supersport Championship at Australia's Phillip Island track.
He narrowly missed out on winning any points with his effort on the Hardinge - Ice Valley Motorsport Honda CBR600RR.
Speaking to local paper the Huddersfield Daily Examiner, Tunstall said he was "disappointed" with his performance but would "keep things in perspective" while looking forward to continuing work on the bike in Spain's Valencia.
He also has two tests scheduled for the Valencia track in April.
Of his Australian performance he said that he was around "two seconds off the pace of the leaders".

"I certainly gave it everything I had and the bike was moving and sliding a lot through the middle of the turns and on the exit so I was definitely pushing hard."
He said that the experience gained should stand the team in good stead when they return to Phillip Island's demanding 2.74-mile circuit in the future.
Tunstall is the sole British entrant in this year's Championship, which will also see him compete in the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and South Africa throughout the course of the year.
But on May 28th he will be back on British soil for the race at Silverstone.
Riders looking for cheap motor bike insurance should consider taking a credited training course and investing in extra security features to reduce their monthly premiums.
Bikes with smaller engines also attract cheaper motor bike insurance than large powerful bikes like Tunstall's Honda.
