Blue Monday just around the corner

Bikers are being warned that Blue Monday - deemed the worst day of the year - is set to fall on Monday January 18th this year.
Traditionally, Blue Monday is seen to be the most depressing day, when new year's resolutions are thrown out of the window and the Christmas cheer fades away.
But the Motor Cycle Industry (MCI) is calling upon riders to plan their adventures for the rest of the year and overcome the misery that may set in.
The organisation suggests motorcyclists could embark on an advanced training course to polish their rusty skills and potentially also help them avoid bike insurance claims.
Additionally, the group suggests riders might want to invest in more durable kit, as clothing and accessories have come a long way since the 1980s.
Off-road experience could be another area of interest to bikers who have not yet felt the thrill of using their machine in a different way from ordinary town driving, the MCI states.
Spokesperson for the MCI Steve Kenward said: "Don't be brought down by Blue Monday, you can do something positive to challenge it."
The organisation recently announced that the bike industry had weathered the financial storm relatively well during 2009.
