Bike insurance policyholders rooting for the MVR-D Suzuki team are likely to have been delighted with the recent performance by wild card rider, Steven Clarke.
The British-born American Supercross racer claimed the top step of the British Supercross Championship podium in the British and SX2 International finals at the O2 arena in London.
Building on his recent success in Liverpool at the Echo Arena, where he took the British Open and podium spots in the Pro SX1 and Pro XS2 classes, Clarke took the wins in both heat races at the British Final.
"I've got to be pleased with my performance. The bike ran perfectly and I felt really comfortable in all heat races and both finals," he commented, thanking the Suzuki MVR-D team for their support.
Team manager Mark Chamberlain congratulated the rider, saying: "He rode extremely well and showed the potential of the new RM-Z250."
Mr Chamberlain went on to say that the racer will now return to the US but is set to join the team back in the UK for a couple more races during the season, where he will work on getting some outdoor practice.
