Sagar to race new Suzuki RMX450Z at XC event

Enduro racer Tom Sagar is to compete in the first round of the Putoline XC series this coming weekend atop his all-new Suzuki RMX450Z.
The racer will zoom round the track at Old Park Farm in Ashby de la Zouche in Leicestershire on February 6th and 7th in preparation for the British and World Enduro Championships later this season.
Sagar commented that he has been impressed with the new bike since he first sat atop it during the press launch at the end of last year.
"With the RMX, we have a proper enduro bike out of the crate that gives us an incredibly good base to go racing with," he stated.
The rider added that his confidence for the season is high.
Bike insurance policyholders may be interested to read that the team's manager Paul Edmondson is also set to compete in the World Enduro Championship too on the new 2010 version of the RM-Z250.
In related news, the Suzuki MVR-D team recently saw success with wild card rider Steven Clarke, who took the top step of the British Supercross Championship podium in the British and SX2 International finals.
