A team of a father and his two sons have written a book about their adventures travelling around the UK on a motorbike and scooters.
Potentially of interest to bike insurance policyholders, the publication covers the days spent on the road by Nick Lojik, aged 55, and sons Anthony, 21, and Daniel, 19, all from Leeds, the Yorkshire Evening Post reports.
The team rode clockwise around the country and raised almost £2,000 for 96.3 Radio Aire and Magic 828's charity Cash For Kids initiative after being inspired by TV show Long Way Round, starring actor Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman.
In total, the trio spent 16 days on their trip, taking in the landmarks along the way such as the Angel of the North and Stonehenge. The threesome had to keep to A roads as they were all learners at the time.
"Altogether, we covered 2,361 miles through wind and rain as well as glorious sunshine and had our highs and lows," commented dad Nick.
He went on to say that the trio hope the book will be mass produced as it contains glossy photos and observations from the trip.
Meanwhile, in Wirral, bike insurance policyholders may be among the thousands of riders hoping to raise money for charity with this year's Egg Run to to Clatterbridge Hospital, where they will deliver Easter eggs to sick children.
