Kids made to abandon motor bike
Two children from Oxborough have been banned from riding their 80cc motor bike in a nearby field their parents own because another resident complained about the noise they made.
At first Breckland Council told Jade and Daniel Snare, 13 and 12, they could continue their hobby if noise was kept low, but then the council's planning department said they would need to apply for permission to continue.
Mr and Mrs Snare bought their children a motor bike for Christmas, and Jade and Daniel told the Lynn News they had gone down to the field to play on their mini motorbikes with their parents for many years.

The children wrote a letter to the local paper to ask for assistance in fighting the council, saying the letter had upset and angered their parents as well as disappointing them.
Ms Snare said: "We have told the council we will continue going."
A Breckland council spokesman commented: "As we have received a complaint from another resident and a formal body we do have to investigate the matter.
Our planning policies are in place to protect the great good, but we always try to negotiate with people first and find a positive way forward before taking enforcement action."
Cheap motor bike insurance is important regardless of the age of the rider, protecting in case of fire, theft and accidental damage. Appropriate safety precautions should always be taken even on a field, while extra security and an approved training certificate could make cheap motor bike insurance even cheaper.
