A Harley Davidson dealership in East Sussex has opened a new shop especially created for those bike insurance policyholders who enjoy customising their models.
Shaw Harley Davidson's Speed and Custom shop will offer consumers genuine Harley-Davidson accessories and Roland Sands Design services, with custom builds given their own project managers, MCN reports.
The shop's principal Steve Willis commented that it has seen "overwhelming support" since its opening day.
"We launched our new department to a busy calendar of appointments and are looking forward to a hectic 2010," he added.
The independent dealership sells both used and new Harley Davidsons and has taken receipt of the new 2010 range of bikes.
Among the latest models to be released by the brand is the 2010 Sportster 48, which has various features including a peanut fuel tank, low suspension, a chopped front fender and slammed speedo and undermount mirrors.
The machine is available in numerous finishes such as vivid black and mirage orange and bike insurance policyholders can invest in their own version from £7,990. Fitted with an air-cooled engine, the bike can deliver a maximum 1,202cc.
