Suzuki rider Tom Sagar continued his strong form at the recent Tough One event held at the Nantmawr Quarry in Shropshire.
Achieving the runner-up spot, the biker rode well without encountering any particular problems during the race and commented that he felt comfortable during the whole event.
The rider went on to say that he chose to use the all-new RM-Z250 for the race because it is ideally suited to the tricky conditions.
"I'm really looking forward to getting back on the RMX450Z for the first round of the British Enduro Championship this weekend," he added.
Team manager Paul Edmondson, who was also riding last weekend in the Wilden MXC Championship, congratulated Sagar on his performance.
"His preparation for the event was faultless and went into it with the right attitude," he commented, adding the rider was wise to cruise to the finish after realising his position was safe.
The Suzuki team is now preparing for the first round of the British Enduro Championship at Thetford Forest.
Earlier this month, Sagar took the top step of the podium at the first round of the Putoline XC Championship, held near Ashby de la Zouche in Leicestershire.
