Bike insurance policyholders who are members of the Motorcycle Action Group (Mag) are set to have greater benefits under an agreement between the organisation and a legal firm.
Access Legal from Shoosmiths has said it will offer free legal advice to Mag's members, which could help bike insurance policyholders carry out vital lobbying work without getting into trouble with the law.
The company has said it will provide a 24-hour legal helpline for riders, their friends and family to use in relation to all manner of legal issues.
Additionally, the legal firm has said that for every personal injury instruction received through Mag, it will donate £100 to the Mag Foundation, which promotes motorcycling through research, representation and collaboration.
The motorcycling group's general secretary Nich Brown said the partnership will mean that members can quickly access all types of expert legal advice when they need it.
"Mag members know their right to ride is one of the most important things in life. Every day we're asked for advice on how to fight injustices by riders who've had a raw deal," the bike expert added.
The group recently described the prime minister's suggestion that a strong motorcycling industry is important in the UK as welcome recognition.
