Suzuki has revealed the latest model in its 25th anniversary range - the GSX-R600.

Just 25 lucky bike insurance policyholders will be able to get their hands on the exclusive vehicle, which is the second machine to be launched as part of the range.

The colour scheme replicates that of the 1999 factory model and the new bike features a Yoshimura exhaust, exclusive top yoke plaque and certificate.

Earlier this year the firm launched its 25th anniversary edition of the GSX-R750 for reservation online after the model was displayed at the International Motorcycle and Scooter Show last November.

Suzuki GB marketing manager George Cheeseman commented: "This is the second special model in our 25 year anniversary trilogy and like the GSX-R750 echoes the timeline of range development."

He went on to say that the sportsbike category was rewritten when Suzuki launched its GSX-R750 in 1985 and then the game was moved on with the release of the first GSX-R600 in 1997.

"We pay tribute to the GSX-R600 with this special model, while we look to complete this special trio of models later in the year," Mr Cheeseman concluded.

The bike will retail at £8,799.
