Riding for the MVR-D Suzuki team, Matiss Karro achieved some solid results at the recent second round of the Maxxis British Motocross Championship in Leicestershire.

The rider ended the day at Mallory Park failing to find himself outside of the top ten in every session, marking a return to form from his baptism of fire at the start of the championship when the rider was seen to struggle.

Commenting on his performance, Karro said the action was not "blistering" but the results were solid all the same.

"We still need to push harder from the start though. If I can rectify this, then it should take away the problems with silly crashes and tangles with other riders," he added.

Meanwhile bike insurance policyholders in attendance on the day may have also seen teammate and reigning Red Bull MX1 Pro National Champion Carl Nunn take part in the MX1 class and finish in 11th place.

The rider achieved 14th position in the first race after a crash, riding to 10th and 13th places in the second and third events.

He described the event as "not a great day to be perfectly honest", admitting to having struggled with starting off.
