BMW reports brake problem
BMW has reported a fault in the adjustment of the anti-lock brakes on some of the motorbikes it sells.
It is therefore recalling around 90,000 bikes sold, offering to perform the necessary repair work free of charge in no more than two hours, according to the Associated Press.
Although the company said the problem would not be obvious in general use, BMW bikers keen to avoid jeopardising any no claims discount would be well advised to get their brakes checked.

The report was unable to say where the recalled BMW motorbikes were sold or whether any accidents had highlighted the problem to the manufacturer.
All the affected bikes are either from the BMW Boxer or K series, which include the touring K 1200 LT, the sport touring KT 1200 GT with Duolever front suspension and 142bhp and the sport KT 1200 S.
