Suzuki fans will soon be able to take part in the first of three special track days being organised by the firm to celebrate the anniversary of its GSX-R model.

Bike insurance policyholders might want to make their way to Brands Hatch in Kent next week for the first event, which will take place after the first round of the British Superbike Championship.

The day will be attended by the Relentless Suzuki by Tas and Worx Suzuki British Superbike teams, with top names such as Michael Laverty, Alastair Seeley, Tommy Hill and Yukio Kagayama to delight visitors with their presence.

Suzuki GB marketing manager George Cheeseman commented that the day would mark the first of a host of special events taking part this year to mark the bike's anniversary.

"The Brands Hatch event follows just two days after the BSB round, so both teams will be in attendance with a full pit box set-up for fans to come and see," he said.

Mr Cheeseman added that bikes will be available at the event for visitors to test ride.

The firm recently launched its second model of the year developed to celebrate the anniversary, with the GSX-R750 and limited edition GSX-R600 models now available.
