The recent Red Bull Pro Nationals leg at Landrake in Cornwall saw MVR-D Suzuki rider Carl Nunn contend with a number of ups and downs.
Starting the day strongly during qualifying, the rider suffered a number of setbacks in the first race, enduring a couple of crashes that resulted in 16th place and tenth place for the day overall.
Nunn commented: "It was all looking quite positive early on, but with the crashes in the first race I really had to regroup and focus for the second moto."
He added that the second race went better but he felt he still could have performed much better.
Team manager Mark Chamberlain described the event as not being the team's best day, suggesting the rider was trying too hard.
"He knows where he needs to improve and I'm confident we can move forward and be back on the podium at the next round," Mr Chamberlain added.
Nunn is currently ninth in the standings, with competitors Brad Anderson, Gordon Crockard, and Ben Lamay taking first, second and third respectively.
The next leg is scheduled to take place at Canada Heights in Kent on May 15th and 16th.
