Suzuki riders are being invited to attend a special event in June to celebrate 25 years of the GSX-R sports bike range and 50 years of international racing.

Bike insurance policyholders might want to dust off their leathers and make their way to London's Ace Cafe on June 20th, with activities held at the venue from 09:00 BST.

A Suzuki concourse event will be held and test rides will available through the Bikesafe campaign on a range of models.

Special Superbike appearances will also take place alongside a goodie bag competition.

Suzuki GB marketing manager George Cheeseman said the firm is delighted to add a date to the calendar of Suzuki fans.

"With many events already scheduled for this summer to celebrate both of our milestones, this event looks set to be a great social gathering for Suzuki fans and of course a great destination for a ride-out," he commented.

Suzuki is also inviting the public to get involved in the 2010 British Superbike season by attending its hospitality unit at Oulton Park On May 2nd from 14:00 BST.

"A static display of bikes will also be on show with the opportunity to enter our competition to win a Limited Edition GSX-R750," the firm said.
