Scooter fans might be pleased to read that Yamaha is adding a new updated version of its Aerox Team Replica to its line-up.

The 2010 model, described by the manufacturer as "the most desirable scooter on the market for young race fans", has been created by the firm as a special edition to mark Yamaha's MotoGP racing success.

In particular, the machine has been launched with Valentino Rossi's World Championship in mind, complete with striking graphics to make the model more eye-catching.

Rossi was crowned MotoGP world champion in 2008.

Despite its celebrity influences, the scooter does not come with a hefty price tag, retailing at £2,399. The model also comes with benefits such as a year's warranty and breakdown cover.

The 50cc scooter is said to offer sporty acceleration and a lightweight traffic that makes zipping through congestion a doddle.

A smooth ride is provided by the sports-tuned suspension and the dual seat means a passenger can be carried, too.

"Finished in head-turning Fiat Yamaha Team livery, the 2010 Aerox Fiat Yamaha Team Race Replica gives you the perfect blend of track spirit and street performance," Yamaha concludes.
