The first ever MotoGP model to lap the Isle of Man TT course will be Suzuki rider Loris Capirossi's GSV-R MotoGP, the manufacturer has confirmed.
Cameron Donald, the winner of the 2008 TT races, will pilot the machine on a lap due to take place after the senior race on Friday June 11th.
The lap has been organised by Suzuki to mark its 50 years of international racing, with the firm also planning a parade at the TT as well as various other events and attractions during race week.
"With Suzuki GSX-R1000s the chosen marshal bikes for this year's event, thanks to Suzuki GB becoming the official TT manufacturer partner, fans will get ample opportunity to revel in the brand's 50th anniversary, with events happening all over the island," the company commented.
The Relentless Suzuki by TAS team will take to the streets with racing aces Cameron Donald and Bruce Anstey, while a special exhibition will take place at the Manx Museum.
Other events include the Suzuki Sprints on June 6th and 8th and the Laxey Motorcycle Show on June 10th.
