Fans of former four-times World Superbike Champion Carl Fogarty might want to head to Sheffield this weekend to see their idol in the flesh.
Bike insurance policyholders may be gearing up in earnest on May 15th and 16th to catch a glimpse of the pro racer at the Sheffield Motorcycle Centre (SMC), where he will be guest of honour at the official launch of the Ducati franchise.
Those attending the event will be treated to examples of the latest models from Ducati, including the Multistrada, Monster and Streetfighters.
A number of rare and exotic machines will also be on show over the weekend, along with the full range of Ducati clothing and accessories.
The manufacturer is inviting those attending the event to enter a competition in which they can win lunch with the racing ace himself.
Bike insurance policyholders could be among four lucky riders who will be selected to join Fogarty for a private lunch at the SMC.
Last month, Ducati launched its Monster 796, said to combine sporty character with user-friendliness. The model is sure to be a big draw for those attending the event to check out the latest models.
