Riders looking for a reliable yet economical machine may need to search no further than the SV650S from Suzuki.
The manufacturer has announced the return of the model at a lower price of £4,999, amounting to a saving of up to £700 on similar models from competitor brands.
Suzuki comments that the bike has become an established and sought after middleweight machine and leads the market as the best value model in its class.
Suzuki GB general manager of sales Paul de Lusignan said the firm is pleased to bring value back into the market, as it did earlier this year with the introduction of the GSX1250FA.
"With the SV650S ideal for new or experienced riders, this offer has potential to appeal to a wide variety of customers," he added.
Among the SV650S's features is a punchy 650cc twin-valve engine, a stylish exterior that enhances aerodynamics and a sporty, lightweight chassis.
Suzuki's other most recent launch is the second model in its exclusive GSX-R750 trilogy - the GSX-R600 - to mark the model's 25th anniversary. The model boasts a colour scheme replicating the 1999 factory machine and availability is limited to 25 units.
