Team Putoline Suzuki rider Tom Sagar showcased "promising form" at the recent Italian round of the Enduro World Championship.
The Suzuki RMX450Z rider missed out on podiums during the event but rode to a solid 11th on day one and 12th on day two in the E2 class, held at Lovere near Bergamo.
Team manager Paul Edmondson competed in the E1 class, finishing day one in 11th position and withdrawing from the second day of competition.
Sagar commented that he was pleased overall with his performance and that of his bike.
"The level of competition in the world series is fierce, so although we just missed out on a top-ten finish this weekend, I'm ahead of my own expectations," he said.
Edmondson praised Sagar for his performance and said the team left the event with a strong finish.
He added that he felt comfortable himself riding on day one but the world championship is a tough series and one day was enough for him.
"On the whole, we all feel very optimistic for the upcoming rounds," he concluded.
In the recent rescheduled second round of the Metzeler British Enduro championship, all Team Putoline Suzuki took podium spots.
