MAG wants more motorbike parking
The Motorcyle Action Group (MAG) is calling on motorcyclists to support the consultation by the City of Westminster to provide more parking spaces specifically for motorcycles.
The consultation focuses on a number of issues to do with motorcycle parking, such as whether or not there should be a fee for parking, whether motorcyclists should have to pay the congestion charge and whether secure parking facilities should be provided for motorcycles.
Regardless of whether the parking is free though one charge motorcyclists cannot avoid is cheap motorcycle insurance premiums.
MAG wants motorcyclists across the capital to respond to the web-based consultation before April 30th, when it closes.

The motorcycling group has been campaigning for increased parking spaces for motorcycles for some time.
In the capital the number of people riding motorcycles has increased since the introduction of the congestion charge for cars. The MAG claims that this highlights the need for more parking spaces.
Meanwhile, MAG continues to insist that motorcyclists are helping relieve the city's congestion problem as they take up less space than cars.
Ian Mutch, national president of MAG, said: "Westminster at times is like a jar full of pebbles, you can't fit another stone inside but you can still pour a handful of sand in.
"Motorcycles are that sand and it makes both environmental and business sense to let us park."
