Portsmouth repair firm gets dedicated biker facility

A dedicated facility for motorcyclists to have their machines repaired has been launched by Protyre in Portsmouth.
Just in time for the summer motorcycling season, the branch now benefits from a one-stop centre for bikers into which they can take their machine for its MoT or general repairs, Easier reports.
The firm is launching the services under its Ride in - Ride Out banner and is currently marking the launch with cut-price MoTs as well as further discounts for those who buy two new Bridgestone tyres.
Area manager Darren Godwin said that with the bank holiday approaching, "the launch of this new bike service is perfectly timed for people getting their own machines into good condition before many miles of happy motoring".
Meanwhile, the firm is currently offering free tyre checks, which could be convenient for bike insurance policyholders planning to make use of the company's MoT offers.
Bikers were recently urged to take extra care on the roads over the bank holiday weekend as they look to get the most from the warmer environment.
The Institute of Advanced Motorists warned that most rider crashes occur in warm, dry conditions, similar to those experienced across the UK in recent weeks.
