Honda has announced its plans to launch an addition to its motorcycle line-up this autumn.
The firm is set to delight bike insurance policyholders with a penchant for style when the CBF1000F goes on sale later this year.
According to Honda, the new machine combines style with versatility, boasting a compact, sporty feel and high level of specification.
With a motor derived from the 998cc Fireblade, the model features a single exhaust end-can that has been tuned for torque and despite its 10bhp improved power, the machine is also seven per cent more fuel-efficient.
It benefits from a new aluminium frame and enhanced suspension, as well as an antilock braking system to improve the model's safety and potentially help guard against bike insurance claims.
The style of the model is racier and slimmer with a new dash layout and the addition of a four-position windscreen and three-position seat.
Set to be priced around £9,000, the machine will feature a host of extras including an alarm, heated grips, six-spoke wheels and luggage.
Earlier this year, Honda debuted a number of new models, including the VFR1200F, VT1300CX Fury and Shadow VT750 Black Spirit.
