A special summer exhibition centring around Suzuki's 50 years of racing is set to be held during this year's Isle of Man TT.

The manufacturer has teamed up with Manx National Heritage to put on the display of machines, leathers, memorabilia and film footage to provide a real treat for Suzuki fans and bike insurance policyholders attending the races.

Entitled Legends of Suzuki, the exhibition features items from top names such as Cameron Donald, Bruce Anstey, Adrian Archibald, Graeme Crosby, Mick Grant, David Jefferies and Mike Hailwood.

Matthew Richardson, curator of social history at Manx National Heritage, said the exhibition had been exciting to put together.

"Whether it is the classic Suzuki machines of the 1960s which capture your interest, or Bruce Anstey's Supersport TT wins of the last five years which you remember best, there will be something in this exhibition for you," he added.

Meanwhile, Suzuki GB marketing manager George Cheeseman said it is significant that the exhibition should be held during such an important year for the firm, as it celebrates its 50th racing anniversary.

He concluded that the display is likely to appeal to general motorcycle enthusiasts as well as Suzuki fans.

Meanwhile, the bike marquee has also revealed that Suzuki riders attending this Saturday will get exclusive parking along the promenade in Douglas.
