The HM Plant Honda team has revealed high hopes of emerging victorious from the next round of the British Superbike Championship at Mallory Park.
On winning form recently, Josh Brookes took a double victory at Silverstone, where he made history by becoming the first rider to win on the all-new arena circuit.
Commenting on the Silverstone event, Brookes described riding the superstock bike as fun and said he was pleased to have won both races for the team.
He added that he hopes for more wins this coming weekend, where bike insurance policyholders are likely to turn out in force to show their support for the racers.
"I won last time out at Cadwell Park and we tested at Mallory Park last week so I am definitely going into this round feeling confident," the rider said.
Meanwhile, team mate Ryuichi Kiyonari commented that he likes the circuit, despite having had some bad results at the track.
"I have one win now and it should be more so I want to be back at the front at this round as I need to be in the top six," he said, adding that he does not feel content unless he is winning or at least fighting for the win.
