Team Putoline Suzuki rider Tom Sagar achieved second place in the recent Welsh Two Day Enduro event.

Bike insurance policyholders might have been among those spectators who turned out in force to witness the riders in action.

Sagar pushed hard to match leader Daryl Bolter's performance but struggled, settling for second place in the end.

He commented that the Welsh round was fantastic and a track he enjoyed riding.

"Although we didn't get the overall win I'm more than happy with my performance and as ever the RMX proved the perfect tool for the job," Sagar said of his bike.

Teammates Paul and Lee Edmondson achieved fourth and fifth places respectively, with the former, who is also the manager, saying that the team worked "exceptionally well together".

Lee Edmondson recently won the second round of the GBXC Championship, held near Kingsbridge in Devon, after returning to racing and to form from injury earlier this year.

The riders are set to compete next at GBXC round three in North Yorkshire this coming weekend, with the manager adding that he is hopeful the team will be able to scoop at least one title.
