Film star Antonio Banderas met up with motorcycle insurance policyholders in Spain to watch racers compete at the Catalunya Grand Prix.
The actor, who most recently reprised his role as Puss in Boots in the fourth Shrek film, even had a go on a scooter at the MotoGP event at Montmelo, near Barcelona.
Spanish racer Jorge Lorenzo won the Catalunya Grand Prix, shaking off stiff competition from Italian Andrea Dovizioso, who crashed out with ten laps to go.
Lorenzo finished around 4.5 seconds clear of Dani Pedrosa in second and Casey Stoner, who took third place.
The 23-year-old Spaniard currently holds a 52-point lead over his closest rival, Pedrosa, with 165 points in the championship race and can count this Grand Prix win as his fifth victory of the season.
"It was a very difficult race, very hot and very tiring. The tyres were a real problem," Lorenzo told Spanish state television.
The victorious rider also made history by becoming the first Yamaha rider since Eddie Lawson in 1986 to win three consecutive top-class races from pole position, AFP news agency reported.
Lorenzo's win in Montmelo follows victories in the UK and the Netherlands.
