Motorcycle insurance policyholders may be among those lucky enough to get their hands on one of two new Honda Fireblade models built in tribute to a pair of famous Isle of Man TT racers.
John McGuinness and Ian Hutchinson both attended the opening ceremony of a new dealership in Surrey, where the brand new models were unveiled to the public.
Mr Hutchinson was celebrated this year when he won five TT races in one week, breaking previous records. Mr McGuinness is known for his achievement as the first rider to complete the 37.7 mile course at an average speed of over 130 miles per hour, Motorcyclenews.com reported.
The marque claims that the Fireblade's lightweight frame and minimalist design gives the bike "both its characteristic agility and excellent stability", allowing motorcycle insurance policyholders to appreciate the bike's handling both on and off the racetrack.
Dealer principal at Farnham Honda, Neil Foster, told the website: "The weekend was a great success and we were really surprised by the number of people who turned up.
"We are all really tired now but it was a fantastic weekend for everyone, we hope."
The CBR1000RR Fireblade and the CBR1000RR C-ABS Fireblade are now available for purchase through any Honda dealer.
