The BBC's face of this season's MotoGP has successfully completed her compulsory basic training (CBT) and is well on her way to becoming a fully-fledged motorcyclist.
Jennie Gow, who may soon have to take out motorcycle insurance if she invests in a bike, carried out the CBT course in association with the Get On campaign as part of National Motorcycle Week.
The campaign allows prospective motorcycle insurance policyholders from the age of 16 and up to test out a 125cc bike or scooter for free at one of 150 centres across the UK.
Motorbike enthusiasts can also receive a free hour-long lesson if they are planning to get back into biking but have spent too long away from two-wheeled vehicles.
Ms Gow commented that there is nothing in the world that can beat the feeling of being on a bike.
"Having watched MotoGP, Speedway and Motocross from up close, I've always been aware of how thrilling it appears.
Now she has gained her qualification, the TV presenter knows just how exciting it is to ride a motorbike - "even if I am going a lot more slowly than the GP guys".
This year's National Motorcycle Week has seen motorcycle insurance policyholders from across the UK participate in Ride to Work Day in a bid to raise awareness of the benefits of losing the car and taking to the road on two wheels.
