Motorcycle insurance customers considering taking a staycation in Britain can now consult their very own guide to the best bike-friendly bed and breakfast accommodations in the country.
VisorDown has published the Motorcyclists Welcome guide, which contains advice about the UK's best roads to ride on and what kit to bring, and it is now available on eBay for £7.99 with free delivery.
The travel-sized guide will also let motorcycle insurance policyholders know where to go to be met with a friendly welcome when they bring their two-wheeler along and can advise on which B&Bs provide safe storage and drying facilities.
It has a comprehensive list of UK motorcycle dealers in case riders are in need of repairs and features the four-times-around-the-world motorbike enthusiast Nick Sanders and his tips for riding around Britain.
Nick's last book, which was published in November 2009, documented his journey from Norfolk to Sussex, Wales, the Western Highlands and back down the east coast of the UK. He spent the first half of his near 4,000 mile trip on a 2009 R1 and the remainder on his 2007 R1.
The motorcyclist's new book is due to be published this coming November and will record his attempts to become the Fastest Motorcyclist in the Americas.
