Rossi harbouring title ambitions
Italian biker Valentino Rossi has fixed his sights on yet another world title, as he looks to continue his recent run of good form with a win in the Dutch GP.
The 27-year-old, who had been somewhat off the pace early in the season, has now come good with two victories in a row - the first a dramatic win on home soil at Mugello, the second an excellent show of focus in the accident-hit Catalan GP last weekend.
Now, ahead of this weekend's race at Assen in Holland, Rossi is beginning to think about the long haul. Having moved into third in the overall standings, 29 points off the top, he sees another consecutive win as an opportunity to further close in on current leader Nicky Hayden.

Reigning MotoGP champion Rossi commented: "We have now won two races in a row and if we hadn't had the problem in Le Mans then that would be three, which means we are now more or less at the same level that we were at this time last year.
"These races are really important so I hope that we can manage to win as many as possible."
However, Rossi paid tribute to Hayden's consistency, admitting that the American's knack of securing podium finishes makes him difficult to catch up with.
The Honda rider managed second place in Catalonia, meaning Rossi's win only reduced the gap between them by five points.
