Irish Harley event a big success
The annual Harley Owners Group (HOG) rally was held in Ireland toward the end of last month and proved a huge success, attracting thousands of dedicated bikers.
Held in the town of Killarney in County Kerry, the 15th annual HOG rally took place between June 22nd and 25th and attracted over 10,000 people, including both locals and riders from across the globe.
The highlight of the weekend was apparently the Saturday morning parade that saw bikes flying the flags of the numerous countries represented at the rally as they rode along a specially designated route through the town.

HOG Europe director Nigel Villiers said afterwards: "We received a fantastic welcome from everyone in Killarney, and we're very grateful for the help we received from the Irish tourism authorities in making this such a successful rally for our Harley Owners Group members.
"The famous Irish hospitality was ever evident, and the rain even stayed away for most of the weekend!"
Also popular was the Custom Bike Show, showcasing various examples of the best in European customisation, while many bikers furthermore took the opportunity to ride their Harley along a spectacular route through the Irish countryside.
Those in attendance also had the chance to sample the local cuisine and to watch performances from a number of legendary music acts, including Bonnie Tyler, Suzi Quattro and the Commitments.
