Repsol Honda riders looking forward to Sachsenring
The two Repsol Honda racers at the top of the MotoGP standings will be looking to put some distance between themselves and the chasing pack in the forthcoming German GP.
Current table-topper Nicky Hayden has form on the Sachsenring circuit, having led for some of the way in last year's edition before eventually being squeezed into third, finishing less than a second behind eventual winner Valentino Rossi.
With a lead of 26 points, the American now believes he can take his ubiquity on the podium into the second half of the season, claiming that there are some tracks he likes coming up and after a fortnight off is eager to further improve his position this weekend.

The 24-year-old said: "We've had a short break and I'm really looking forward to getting to Germany - it's a track I quite like.
"In the first section it's pretty well follow-the-leader and you've just got to be patient and get through there, but the last part of the track I really like. The fifth gear drop-away is really good and it's a pretty sweet feeling when you get that one right."
Meanwhile, second-placed newcomer Dani Pedrosa is hoping to build on his victory in the British GP at Donington and although this is of course the first time he has raced in Germany at MotoGP level, he did win his previous two 250cc GP races here.
He stated: "At Donington we had the opportunity to ride a good race and get a good result - and we took the opportunity. That's what we'll be working towards this weekend as well."
