Gibernau ready for German return
Ducati rider Sete Gibernau says he has recovered from the injuries he sustained in the Catalan GP and will be fit to race in this weekend's edition at Sachsenring in Germany.
Two-time MotoGP runner up Gibernau endured a heartbreaking return to his home town of Barcelona when his bike flipped over as he rounded the first corner, inflicting upon him a broken collarbone that would keep him out of the Dutch and English GPs.
After a month on the sidelines, during which he slipped from ninth place overall to thirteenth and 109 points behind leader Nicky Hayden, the Spaniard has now recovered sufficiently to make his comeback and cannot wait to do so.

He said: "I am really looking forward to returning to action! The shoulder is recovering well and I have been working to get fit as fast as possible."
He added that the tight, winding Sachsenring circuit will be an uncomfortable one to ride given his injury, but that his record there is good, having won there in 2003 and finished second last year.
Meanwhile his teammate Loris Capirossi, who was also unseated and injured when Gibernau's bike turned over, will once again battle through the pain barrier as he seeks to climb back up from fifth spot.
The Italian admitted that he is still a bit of time away from a clean bill of health, but said that he hopes to be "80 to 90 per cent fit for the race".
