Hayden to ride the pressure
MotoGP table-topper Nicky Hayden is refusing to let the pressure get to him as he edges closer to a first ever championship title.
With victory on home soil at Laguna Seca last month, the young American increased his lead in the overall standings to 34 points and with six races remaining he is on course to break Valentino Rossi's consecutive run of titles going back to 2001.
Yet the Honda rider is keeping a cool head regardless and having enjoyed his well earned rest after his success in California, he is now setting his sights on getting in amongst the points again in this weekend's edition in Brno.

Hayden commented: "I've just been stuck into my normal programme, trying to prepare myself the best I can.
"We've got six races to go so every race is huge. But this weekend is just another race where we have to use every minute of all the sessions to qualify well and be ready to roll when the light goes out."
Commenting on the track at Brno, the unflappable Hayden said he was looking forward to racing there as it is a circuit he likes, with "long straightaways combined with a lot of passing places".
Although he only has two wins to his name so far this season he has managed a podium finish in nine out of 11 races so far and with a good record on this course, he will be expected to be amongst the frontrunners again this weekend.
