Magazine for female bikers launched
A brand new magazine has been launched, aimed directly at the hidden side of the motorcycling world - women.
Bikeress was launched at the Bulldog Bash motorcycle event at Shakespeare County Raceway near Stratford earlier in the month and will offer a completely female-led perspective on all things motorcycling.
And with public perceptions of the biking world focussing on its macho image, the magazine is aimed at giving female riders their own forum, to discuss everything from the latest news to the price of motorcycle insurance.

Tracy Kearley, the editor of Bikeress, told femalefirst.co.uk that the magazine needed time to develop: "A few years on and with an increase in the popularity of motorcycling among women, it seems the perfect opportunity. And so Bikeress is born!
"The reason I wanted to launch Bikeress is because there doesn't seem to be any magazines available to women. I know lots of women read the magazines available on the shelves at the moment, but they don't seem to cater much for the female variety!"
The magazine will feature reviews of the latest bikes and biking products, profiles and stories about groundbreaking female riders, and will most importantly offer women riders their own voice in the motorcycling world.
