Rossi keeping the faith
Valentino Rossi says he has full confidence in both himself and his bike ahead of the forthcoming season-deciding races in Portugal and Spain.
Having worn Nicky Hayden's lead down to just 12 points, Rossi is now looking forward to racing on the Estoril course this weekend, where he believes he can ride well despite its many twists and turns.
Rossi feels that since his disastrous American GP - where he failed to finish for the third time this season while Hayden took first place - he and his team have ironed out the problems with his bike, putting him in a position to go and win the championship.

He explained: "I think that we're as strong as our rivals now and when we're at the maximum we're always going to be fighting at the front.
"Of course we know we could have won more if we'd been like this earlier in the season, but we can't do anything about that. Anyway, we know our potential and when we've started from the front lately we've been on the podium each time, so we have to carry on like this."
The Italian was quick to attribute his recent upturn in form to the hard work everyone at Yamaha has put in this summer, describing their level of motivation and concentration as superior to any of the other MotoGP racing teams.
A poor performance in Portugal could sound the death knell for his title hopes, however - should Hayden win, then Rossi will need to finish inside the top four or else the reigning champion will have to give up his title for the first time in six years.
