Rossi wary of Pedrosa challenge
Although Nicky Hayden ended his run of MotoGP title wins this year, Valentino Rossi thinks it is Honda's other young star that will make the biggest impression next season.
Dani Pedrosa enjoyed a successful inaugural year in the competition, winning in China and in Britain and rising to second at one stage, although an injury ahead of the Malaysian GP was followed by a slide down the table and he eventually finished fifth.
Nonetheless, the Spaniard's start to his MotoGP career was highly impressive and according to Eurosport, Rossi believes that with his first season in the competition already behind him Pedrosa can only improve from now on.

The Yamaha rider told Motorcycle News: "He will be one of the best and strongest rivals, but we already knew this.
"That bike is very good for him and for his size. He will be very difficult to beat and he will be dangerous next year."
Although he was deservedly named rookie of the year for his achievements, Pedrosa's first season in MotoGP racing will perhaps be best remembered for his clumsy collision with Hayden in Portugal that then looked like costing his team mate the championship.
However, the 21-year-old then gave a mature performance in the final race of the season, allowing Hayden to pass him early on in the race and then doing his utmost to keep the chasing pack at bay as the American rode on to a podium finish and title glory.
