Hammond gets back on the road
Richard Hammond clearly has an indestructible need for speed, as he was back on the road over the festive period enjoying a ride on his motorbike.
The Top Gear presenter narrowly escaped death in September when he crashed during filming for the BBC2 programme.
Despite having been in a coma and still recovering from his injuries, the 37-year-old star took to the streets of London on his Honda Fireblade, Motorcycle News reports.

"I just can't believe how good that was," he told the publication when he stopped for a rest. "That ride, the quick wobbly ride with me looking like a nobber, just made me realise why I love bikes and just what I started riding for all those years ago."
Performing a stunt for the cameras at Elvington airfield in Yorkshire, Hammond crashed at 288mph, leaving the nation fearing the worst.
But amazingly, a couple of months of recuperation later it seems 'the Hamster' is putting the accident behind him - although he did not say how much his motorcycle insurance costs these days.
"It felt like a fantastic connection straight back to a time when I hadn't suffered a brain injury and life was a lot simpler," he told Motorcycle News.
