Bikers await new BMWs with relish

BMW has claimed that there is a huge amount of anticipation among UK motorcyclists ahead of the launch of a number of new models from the manufacturer.

Its new G 650 X Motorrad range will be arriving at dealerships across the country on March 10th and has drummed up a great deal of interest after a hugely successful appearance at the recent MCN show in London.

Among this range is the G 650 X Moto, priced at £6,195, which BMW claims is perfectly at ease on either road or track and offers a combination of "sporting agility with dynamic performance".

Mottorrad manager Tony Jakeman commented: "We've been really surprised by the level of interest in the new G series models.

"They attracted considerable interest at the MCN Motorcycle Show and our customer services team have been inundated with enquiries about the bikes and their availability."

Completing the G 650 X range is the off-road £5,995 Challenge model and the versatile, on or off-road £5,795 Country bike.

All three of these two-wheelers will also be making their debut at the Irish Motorbike & Scooter Show during March, with BMW hoping that they will be successful in winning the hearts of bikers young and old.
