Scottish bikers are good eggs
Thousands of Scottish motorcyclists did their bit for charity this Easter, bringing a smile to many youngsters' faces and raising a considerable amount of money on their behalf.
An estimated 7,500 bikers took part in this year's Motorcycle Action Group Easter Egg Run, riding from Kelvin Way in Glasgow to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, where they distributed eggs around the wards.
With 1,500 fewer motorcyclists raising a total of £26,000 for the Yorkhill Children's Foundation from last year's run, it is hoped that the haul this time around will be even larger, with £25,000 already having been accumulated at time of writing.

The event's organiser Stuart Regan told BBC News: "All the bikers absolutely love it.
"It's fantastic we can do something we love and at the same time raise some money for a good cause and make sure kids have a good Easter."
Meanwhile, the Royal Hospital's manager Jamie Redfern praised Mr Regan and his fellow philanthropists on two wheels, as well as the staff at the hospital who also contributed considerably to the ride's success.
This activity has proved increasingly beneficial over time, with this year's turnout nearly ten times the size of that seen in the 2002 run, while funds raised so far are even more in excess of the total amassed during that year.
