Stoner and Elias bury hatchet, for now
Fierce rivals Casey Stoner and Toni Elias have apparently put their differences aside after Stoner criticised the Honda rider for his recklessness on the track.
The MotoGP leader was irked by an incident in qualifying for the French GP, in which he had thought Elias was slowing down to let him pass, only for the Spaniard to then cut across him, forcing him into the gravel trap.
However, Elias has since visited the Ducati man in a bid to sort out their differences, Motor Cycle News has reported, with the 24-year-old claiming that for him "that's it" now, although he remained disgruntled at being repeatedly censured by Stoner.
He complained to the paper: "Casey always speaks about me, but I think Casey has problems with everybody and not only me.

"I do my job what Casey has to do is concentrate on his own work and not on me. It is every weekend the same history with him. He criticises me all the time and I am tired about what Casey said."
Elias had already come in for disparagement earlier this year from Valentino Rossi, with the Yamaha rider branding his buccaneering style as "dangerous" after some aggressive passing in the Turkish GP back in April.
That race has proved to be the highlight of the Catalonian's season up to now, with his second-placed finish giving him his only podium so far in 2007 and helping him to his current position of eighth in the overall standings.
