Stoner excels at Czech MotoGP
Casey Stoner continued his dominance of this year's world championship at the weekend, with a comfortable win at the Czech MotoGP in Brno.
The Australian is now 60 points clear in the overall standings, helped by a miserable day for his nearest competitor, Valentino Rossi.
The seven-times world champion was only able to finish seventh, some 23 seconds adrift of the 21-year-old prodigy.
Americans John Hopkins and Nicky Hayden, riding with Suzuki and Honda respectively, were Stoner's closest competitors in the Czech Republic, both finishing within 13 seconds of the championship leader.
Stoner has been a revelation this season, winning seven of his 12 races to gain a seemingly insurmountable lead over the rest of the pack.

Rossi has threatened to mount a comeback on a number of occasions, but the young Ducati rider has had an answer to everything that has been thrown at him.
"Everything worked perfectly today, the bike, the tyres. I was fast at the beginning...so I could relax slightly towards the end," he said after the race.
Hopkins, who spent much of the race in close pursuit of Stoner, admitted that his opponent's pace was simply too impressive.
"Casey's pace was unreal, he didn't make a mistake the whole race so it was tough to catch him," he said.
